Big legends are what they are by doing different
and surprising things, things that give you illusion and make you believe that most difficult goals are achievable. Let´s move to sports and specifically to
those which are played by teams. Nowadays, game strategy is completely
analyzed, studied and worked on. So here comes the essence of football fans
passion. Two teams facing off, an enormous budget gap between them but however
and thanks to carry out a special strategy, the weak team can balance forces with the
rich one and even beat against the greatest squads at the moment. History show us that it is always possible and especially in modern football where physic and strategy in teams are developed at capacity. But in some cases this is not enough, in some cases all
this scientific willing runs into the superbly talent and is brought down. The
greatest players of all time are what they are because they saw and found light
where the majority only saw drab and dark. In Chelsea- Arsenal match I
came back to see one of them, Johan Cruyff. Yes Johan receiving the ball,
starting his run and passing through all the rivals that came out against him trying to stop a wonderful slalom that ended up with a penalty to the Dutch
team against Germany in 1974 World Cup final. I saw this play again in Stamford
Bridge; he wasn´t Cruyff but Eden Hazard who made that marvelous slalom inventing a
magical path to give the lead and victory to his team in the last Premier
League fixture. Di Stéfano, Pelé, Maradona, Cruyff, Zidane, Ronaldo Nazário, Ronaldinho, Messi … now depends on
Hazard, the best talent after Messi in the world, that the football passionate
finds another magical path, another legend.
